Shorts are one of the easiest ways to get eyes on a channel, but writing a fresh 30-second script every day gets old fast.
Here’s the prompt from my toolbox that hands you five at once, each with a hook, the script, what to show on screen and a call to action.
Write 5 YouTube Shorts scripts for my channel.
My channel: quick AI prompt tips for people who sell printables on Etsy
My viewer: a crafter or side hustler who has heard of AI but hasn't used it much
Each script should run about 30 seconds when read out loud. For each one give me:
- A hook for the first 2 seconds that makes them stay
- The script, written to be spoken, with short sentences
- A note on what to show on screen at each beat
- A one-line call to action at the end
Each Short teaches one thing they can try today. Keep it plain and friendly, no hype, no "this will blow your mind," and don't promise income or results. If a detail about me would help and you don't have it, leave a [BRACKET].
I ran it in Gemini for a channel about AI tips for Etsy printable sellers. Here are the hooks it wrote:
- “Struggling to find the right keywords for your Etsy listing?”
- “Not sure what printable to design next?”
- “Stop staring at a blank description box on Etsy.”
- “Need a color palette that actually looks professional?”
- “Does writing customer messages make you nervous?”
Each script ran 63 to 73 words, which is about right for 30 seconds out loud, and each one walked through a single thing to try with a real example prompt.

The Line You Should Not Touch!
“Each Short teaches one thing they can try today.”
Leave that one alone. One idea per Short is what keeps it under 30 seconds and keeps people watching to the end.
Full Disclosure
It slipped in “I’ve found this works great when I’m feeling stuck.” It hasn’t found anything, so read every “I” line and keep only what’s true for you.
Read the scripts out loud before you film, too. Written words and spoken words are different animals, and you’ll want to swap a few for how you actually talk. Got a blog? The One-to-Ten workflow turns a post into more content like this.
Need More To Talk About?
Running low on topics? That’s where my PLR shop comes in: done-for-you content you can put your name on and use as your own.
Go film one. The first one is always the weirdest. (Take 14 stays between you and the camera.)
