Every digital product needs a sales page, and most of the ones AI writes sound like a late-night infomercial. Countdown timers, “limited spots” and a testimonial from a guy named Dave who doesn’t exist.

This prompt from my toolbox gets you a sales page that just explains the product like you’re proud of it.

The filled prompt
Write a short sales page for a digital product.

Product: a PLR bundle about food preservation with 10 articles, 1 ebook and an image prompt pack. Articles come in PDF, Word, HTML and WordPress import formats.
Price: $17
Buyer: bloggers and email marketers in the homesteading niche who need quality content fast

Include:
- A headline and a one-line subhead
- Two or three short paragraphs on the problem it solves
- A bulleted list of exactly what's inside
- Who it's for, and who it isn't for
- What they're allowed to do with PLR (edit it, rebrand it, publish it under their own name)
- A clear buy button line

Rules: no fake scarcity, no countdown timers, no income claims, no invented testimonials, and none of the hype words like "revolutionary" or "game-changing". Write it like a person explaining a product they're proud of.

I ran it in Gemini. It came back with a headline, a short problem section, the full list of what’s inside with every file format, a “who it’s for” and “who it isn’t for” and a license section. Not one fake timer. Its “not for you” line was a good one:

This is not for you if you are looking for a “get rich quick” shortcut or if you prefer to write every single word of your content from scratch.

The Line You Should Not Touch!

“Rules: no fake scarcity, no countdown timers, no income claims, no invented testimonials…”

Leave that one alone. Without it, most AI defaults straight to hype, and fake urgency and made-up testimonials can get you in real trouble with buyers (and with the FTC).

Full Disclosure

It added a license rule I never gave it: “You may not resell the PLR rights themselves to others.” That may or may not match your actual terms, so check every license line against your real license before this goes live.

Selling on Etsy instead? The Etsy listing prompt is built for that.

Need Something To Sell?

Got the sales page but not the product? That’s what PLR is for. My shop has done-for-you bundles you can rebrand and sell as your own.

Go write the page. Dave can find another sales page to lie on.
